Ominous black sky….Clouds hiding stars and moon…..
Night ticks by….Will the Sun shine soon?
My friend left her earthly body…..To soar among the stars…..
Yes, her spirit set free….From all her scars!
I celebrate the time we shared…..
We laughed, we danced and we cared!
Tears for her, now….empty….earthly space…..
Roll down my cheeks and burn my face!
Oh, Sun please rise and lighten this dark place….
Time has stopped in this dark sacred space!
Deep within my pain gives a sigh…..
Why, or why do earthly bodies have to die?
“I don’t know!” my mind does reply!
Then the drumming of my heart beats through….
Oh, Marilyn, you know what to do!
A deep painful breath I inhale….
So, deep and full, oh, lungs please….do not fail~
Hold that breath and sing of my gratitude!
“My LOVE of you does not conclude!
“Exhaling now, long and slow…..
Letting the pain and LOVE flow…..
Now….empty I am!
Sitting with the great I AM…..
My hands are empty…..
I AM’s LOVE comes to me….
Inside on this dark….empty day!
In the darkness, this is the way…
A spark becomes an embers glow…..
Will I choose to grow….
To continue to feed this fire….
Oh what is my desire?
To stay in the darkness….
Feeding the emptiness?
