Bumpity had an herb garden, last year!
Cold winds began to blow!
“It’s, okay herbs, you have nothing to fear….
I’ll bring some of you in to the warm fire’s glow!
“Rosemay, Thyme, Marjoram…..
put into pots….
Then into the Sunrise room….
They found warm spots!
Sage, Chives, Parsley, Greek and Italian Oregano….
Were covered by a floating plant cloth, just so!
Colder winds came and snow blew around….
The plants were happy in their chosen ground!
Then warm breezes…..
between mild freezes….
Herbs reunited…..
under kitchen window….
Covered some nights….
when cold winds blow!

Rhubarb a growing….
with Asparagus….not far behind!
It won’t be long….
and you can come see….
this magical, mystical, healing space!
When you come driving down the Bumpity Road….
It will put a great big smile on my face!
